Allegiant Air Schedules Initial Boeing 737 MAX Routes
Allegiant Air is starting to schedule its first flights with its upcoming new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The ultra low-cost carrier plans to take delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 in the coming months and expects to have 10 in its fleet by the end of the year. Allegiant has now scheduled the 737 MAX 8-200 on over 50 routes covering over 40 cities. The new aircraft will be based out of Orlando Sanford (SFB), St. Petersburg (PIE), and Punta Gorda (PGD) in Florida.
This list is based on what I have found so far, so there could certainly be other routes with the 737 MAX.

The 737 MAX will begin rolling out progressively on these routes starting around mid-August through November, but could see earlier dates. The first delivery is expected months before then, so it’s possible for the first flight to shift. I’ve reached out to Allegiant for information regarding the inaugural 737 MAX flight.
Allegiant’s 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft is configured with a total of 190 seats, which includes 21 “Allegiant Extra” seats. The 737 MAX replaces the Airbus A319 (156 seats) and A320 (177 or 186 seats) on these routes, which represents additional capacity assuming frequencies are maintained.
