Breeze Airways to Announce Orange County to Provo, Orlando Routes

Breeze Airways is preparing for a new expansion which includes one new destination and the addition of a captivating transcontinental route.

As I first reported in September, Breeze had secured two daily slots at Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) in California. The airline will soon announce flights from Orange County to two destinations:

  • Orlando, Florida (MCO)

  • Provo, Utah (PVU)

Both routes commence starting February 16, 2023 and will be served on a daily basis. Breeze’s new Airbus A220-300 aircraft will operate these Orange County flights.

Breeze is the only airline offering nonstop flights between Orange County and Orlando International Airport, linking the two airports closest to Disneyland and Disney World respectively. However, the airline will face competition from Allegiant Air on the Orange County to Provo route.

Breeze Airways has structured these new flights so that the Airbus A220 operates a Provo to Orange County to Orlando routing (and reverse), which allows the airline to offer a one-stop “BreezeThru” ticket from Provo to Orlando. The new flights operate with the following schedule:

  • MX602 Depart PVU 7:30 AM Arrive SNA 8:15 AM

  • MX602 Depart SNA 8:50 AM Arrive MCO 4:30 PM

  • MX603 Depart MCO 5:10 PM Arrive SNA 7:30 PM

  • MX603 Depart SNA 8:05 PM Arrive PVU 10:45 PM

Orange County is Breeze’s fourth destination in California following San Francisco (SFO), San Bernardino (SBD), and Los Angeles (LAX). The startup airline’s exciting growth continues with the addition of this new destination.
