Frontier Airlines to Begin Service to Vail, Burlington, Palm Springs, Adds Other New Florida, Los Angeles Routes

Frontier Airlines will add a set of new routes, which includes the addition of one new and two returning destinations.

Starting this December, Frontier will add the following new routes:

  • Eagle/Vail (EGE) to Dallas (DFW)

  • Eagle/Vail (EGE) to Denver (DEN)

  • Eagle/Vail (EGE) to San Francisco (SFO)

  • Burlington (BTV) to Tampa (TPA)

  • Burlington (BTV) to Orlando (MCO)

  • Palm Springs (PSP) to San Francisco (SFO)

  • Palm Springs (PSP) to Denver (DEN)

  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Seattle (SEA)

  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Portland, OR (PDX)

  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Salt Lake City (SLC)

  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Houston (IAH)

  • Boston (BOS) to Tampa (TPA)

  • Washington D.C (IAD) to Tampa (TPA)

  • Portland, ME (PWM) to Tampa (TPA)

  • Cleveland (CLE) to Palm Beach (PBI)

  • Cincinnati (CVG) to Palm Beach (PBI)

Eagle/Vail, Colorado (EGE) represents a new destination for Frontier. The carrier will debut service to DFW, DEN, and SFO, all of which have existing competition from hub carriers.

Frontier will also return to Burlington, Vermont (BTV) after two years with a new route to Tampa (TPA) and a resumption to Orlando (MCO). Notably, Breeze Airways entered BTV earlier this year with both of these routes. Similarly, Palm Springs (PSP) returns to Frontier’s network after several years.

The four new Los Angeles (LAX) routes to SEA, PDX, SLC, IAH mark a continuation of Frontier’s strategy aiming to offer a low-cost alternative in denser routes with high competition.

Lastly, like all other U.S. low-cost carriers, Frontier continues adding service to Florida for the winter.
