Frontier Airlines to Launch New York JFK-Las Vegas, Continues Adding Competitive Markets

Update 6/13/24: I reported that Frontier would launch JFK-LAX. However, despite the carrier publishing the schedule and announcing it in its email, they’ve scrapped the route.

Frontier Airlines is set to announce a new expansion with several new routes:

• New York (JFK) to Las Vegas (LAS)

• Boston (BOS) to Atlanta (ATL)

• Boston (BOS) to Dallas (DFW)

• Boston (BOS) to Charlotte (CLT)

• Los Angeles (LAX) to Atlanta (ATL)

• Los Angeles (LAX) to Sacramento (SMF)

All routes begin on August 13.

These routes, along with an abundance of other new flights Frontier has recently added, are part of the carrier’s shift towards competitive markets. The airline is also aiming to capture more premium demand as Frontier has added products such as Business Bundles and blocked middle seats.
