Sun Country Airlines to Announce Major Destination Expansion

Tomorrow, Sun Country Airlines will be announcing a major expansion with 13 new destinations, all of which will be served from its Minneapolis (MSP) hub.

Here’s the scoop on the new destinations:

  • Atlantic City (ACY) twice-weekly starting May 1, 2023

  • Charlotte (CLT) twice-weekly starting April 13, 2023

  • Colorado Springs (COS) twice-weekly starting June 8, 2023

  • Columbus (CMH) twice-weekly starting May 4, 2023

  • Detroit (DTW) twice-weekly starting May 5, 2023, increasing to four weekly from June 1

  • Kansas City (MCI) twice-weekly starting May 29, 2023

  • Louisville (SDF) twice-weekly starting May 4, 2023

  • New York City (JFK) four weekly starting April 13, 2023 (last served in early 2019)

  • Omaha (OMA) twice-weekly starting May 26, 2023

  • Rapid City (RAP) twice-weekly starting June 19, 2023

  • Richmond (RIC) twice-weekly starting May 19, 2023

  • Traverse City (TVC) twice-weekly starting June 16, 2023

  • Wilmington (ILM) twice-weekly starting June 1, 2023
