Alaska Airlines to Launch 4 New International Routes, Including First Service to The Bahamas

Alaska Airlines is expanding with four new international routes and one new country:

- Seattle (SEA) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS)

- Los Angeles (LAX) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS)

- Las Vegas (LAS) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR)

- Las Vegas (LAS) to Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD)

Nassau, Bahamas is a new destination/country for Alaska. The new Seattle to Nassau route, which will be operated with the Boeing 737 MAX, represents the airline’s new longest route at 2,887 miles.

  • AS750 Depart SEA 9:00 AM Arrive NAS 6:15 PM

  • AS749 Depart NAS 10:00 AM Arrive SEA 2:05 PM

The new Los Angeles to Nassau route will compete against JetBlue’s new service, which was announced earlier this month. Alaska’s LAX-NAS is scheduled with the Boeing 737:

  • AS724 Depart LAX 10:40 AM Arrive NAS 6:55 PM

  • AS723 Depart NAS 11:00 AM Arrive LAX 2:20 PM

The new Las Vegas to Mexico flying is Alaska’s only international service from LAS. These flights will be flown with the Embraer 175.

Frequencies and start dates:

- 4x weekly LAX-NAS begins December 15

- 3x weekly SEA-NAS begins December 15

- 4x weekly LAS-PVR begins December 14

- 4x weekly LAS-SJD begins December 15

All four routes will operate seasonally and are currently scheduled to be flown through early April 2024.
