Breeze Airways now offers 8 nonstop routes out of Raleigh/Durham (RDU) despite not yet commencing flights to the city. The airline will inaugurate flights to RDU later this week with routes to New Orleans (MSY), Providence (PVD), and Hartford (BDL). In May, Breeze will launch flights from RDU to Jacksonville (JAX) and Columbus (CMH) alongside the three new routes added today.

Additionally, Breeze Airways continues to grow in Richmond (RIC) with the addition of nonstop routes to Islip (ISP) and Cincinnati (CVG). Last month, Breeze announced a new transcontinental route from RIC to Los Angeles (LAX). With these new flights, Breeze now offers 12 nonstop routes out of Richmond, making the city its largest non-base station in terms of number of routes.

Breeze’s network primarily consists of tapping into unserved routes and markets. In this latest expansion, the majority of routes continue that trend, but the airline is venturing into routes served by other airlines. Some examples include American and Delta already serving RDU-LAX along with Southwest and JetBlue already flying BDL-TPA and PVD-MCO.

New one-stop “BreezeThru” segments have also been added, such as Hartford (BDL) to Los Angeles (LAX), Louisville (SDF) and Cincinnati (CVG) to Jacksonville (JAX), among others.

Breeze Airways now offers 140+ nonstop routes across 35 destinations.
