Tulum, Mexico Gains Transatlantic Flights with Discover Airlines to Frankfurt

Transatlantic flights are officially coming to Tulum, Mexico (TQO).

Tulum International Airport just opened at the end of 2023 with domestic flights. International service set to begin next month through American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. The airport has also secured additional international carriers, such as Air Canada, JetBlue, and Copa Airlines.

Now Tulum is set to gain its first transatlantic service through Discover Airlines. The German carrier will launch a twice-weekly route from Frankfurt (FRA) to Tulum starting December 12:

  • (Thursday) 4Y12 Depart FRA 4:45 PM Arrive TQO 10:30 PM

  • (Friday) 4Y13 Depart TQO 12:30 AM Arrive FRA 4:20 PM (next day)

  • (Sunday) 4Y12 Depart FRA 10:20 AM Arrive TQO 4:05 PM

  • (Sunday) 4Y13 Depart TQO 6:05 PM Arrive FRA 9:55 AM (next day)

Discover Airlines will operate this route using its Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Tulum represents Discover’s second destination in Mexico after Cancun (CUN).
